I hope to present my show in Las Vegas in 2014<\/strong><\/h2>\n

GENEVA. Known for her role as a judge on \"France's Got Talent<\/a>\" Sophie Edelstein is also a magician. The 41-year-old Frenchwoman will present her \"Magic Show\" in \"Place au Spectacle!<\/a>\" in Geneva on February 22 and 23. Visiting Switzerland to promote it, Sophie Edelstein talks about her projects.<\/p>\n

What does your \"Magic Show\" consist of?
\n<\/strong>It's a grand illusion show, featuring acts like levitations, which I perform accompanied by my dancer-acrobats.<\/p>\n

This year you were supposed to go to Las Vegas, is that confirmed?
\n<\/strong>I have a project for a big magic show in the United States with my friend Alex Goude<\/a> (editor's note: host of \"France's Got Talent\"). The show is written, but we still need to find the person who will sign the contract. I really hope to be able to present it in 2014. However, I'm not going to leave Europe. I love France, I love my country, so I'll be commuting back and forth.<\/p>\n

So, will we see you again on \"France's Got Talent\" this year?
\n<\/strong>There's an 8th season, so we'll see, it might be a surprise. I also have the possibility of going to Dubai; it will depend on the filming dates. But if I'm available, I'd be delighted to participate in this show, which serves as a springboard and allows many contestants to change their lives. Plus, I enjoy it. It's a bit like a family, a group of friends.<\/p>\n

You mention a springboard. Yet the last winner, Die Mobil\u00e9s, is an established professional troupe...
\n<\/strong>I was happy they won, even though it's the public who chooses, because it was a beautiful show, it was deserved. It's the first time the public has chosen established artists. Maybe they were tired of seeing children win...<\/p>\n

You wanted to work with Swiss contortionist Nina Burri. What's the status on that?<\/strong>
\nIndeed, but she'll be with Circus Knie<\/a> this year. She didn't have any dates available for me. I hope that in two years, she'll be free to come to the stage of Cirque Pinder, where I'm the artistic director. -FA<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
